DEFINITIONS:

Depression - Mental state: a pessimistic
sense of inadequacy & being despondent
Meth - a psychostimulant & sympathomimetic
Heroin - narcotic: highly addictive derivative of morphine - IV use
Cocaine - narcotic (alkaloid) from coca leaves
Alcohol - organic beverage methyl alcohol
PCP - phencyclidine: intravenous anesthetic
Marijuana - euphoric & hallucinogenic plant
Prescription Drugs - licensed regulated medicine, requires prescription from a doctor
Designer Drugs - psychoactive drug created, marketed to bypass existing drug laws
Anabolic Steroids - synthetic hormones used to stimulate muscle and bone growth
Hallucinogens - substance that caused visual or aural hallucinations (sensing things that are not what they appear to be or not there at all)
